Hilton Head’s Restaurant Week, A Great Time to Visit our Island

Hilton Head vacation rentalsCalling all foodies! Hilton Head is hosting our annual Restaurant Week to allow you to explore some of the island’s best restaurants. Boasting such up-and-coming chefs as Robert Irvine, of Eat! and Nosh, and Orchid Paulmeier of One Hot Mama’s — both of Food Network fame — Hilton Head is no stranger to the high-end culinary scene.

Chamber Restaurant Week runs Jan. 26-Feb. 2. Come down during the week or make a long weekend out of it Jan. 25-28 or Feb. 1-3. Modeled after popular restaurant weeks in cities like New York, Los Angeles and even nearby Charleston, the event highlights local restaurants in Hilton Head and Bluffton who will be offering special prix fixe (price-fixed) menus. These menus allow you to sample their gourmet cuisine for a discounted, set price and typically include three courses.

Some of the participating restaurants include Alexander’s inside Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, Red Fish, Bistro 17 and ELA’s at Shelter Cove, One Hot Mama’s, May River Grill, Skull Creek Boathouse, The Jazz Corner and many more. From Asian to Italian and from BBQ to seafood, you’re sure to find something to tempt your tastebuds. Find the complete list of participating Hilton Head restaurants here.

Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to discover a new Hilton Head restaurant or one that you’ve been wanting to try. What’s tops on your list to try this year?
