Sweet Treats on Hilton Head Island: From Chocolate to Candy to Cupcakes

Sweet Carolina CupCakes

Bring your loved one a scrumptious cupcake from Sweet Carolina Cupcakes at 1 North Forest Beach Drive. On Valentine’s Day, featured cupcakes will be Rocky Road, Chocolate Chip Cheesecake and Darling Clementine, along with the standard Red Velvet, Sweet Carolina, Classic Chocolate and Classic Vanilla. Palmetto Dunes General Store

Looking for all manner of candy? You’ll find it in the candy aisle at the Palmetto Dunes General Store inside Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. Fill your bag with everything from gummy sharks to malt balls to smarties from their bins and bins of candy. Just remember to brush your teeth afterward!

The Island Fudge Shoppe

Fudge fanatic? We’ve got the place for you! At the Island Fudge Shoppe, located in Coligny Plaza, choose from slabs of rocky road, praline pecan, peanut butter oreo and plain ol’ chocolate — all homemade. They’ve also got some other sweet treats like Hilton Head saltwater taffy and chocolates in the shape of South Carolina.

Chocolate Canopy

Chocoholic? Head to Chocolate Canopy, a gourmet chocolate company located at 6 Bow Circle. Take your pick of chocolates, truffles, chocolate dipped strawberries, pralines and even sugar-free options. They also make great gift boxes for hostess gifts and more.

Kilwins Hilton Head

Need a sugar shot after shopping? Kilwins at the Tanger Outlets is your stop! They’re known for their pecan brittle, original recipe ice cream, Mackinaw Island fudge and more. Just walk in and take a sniff. You’ll thank us J.

Hilton Head Candy

Of course, the granddaddy of them all may be Hilton Head Candy, also in Coligny Plaza. They pride themselves on their broad assortment of candies like Sky Bars, Turkish Taffy, Candy Buttons or a pound of shoelace licorice. Browse in store or order your island treat online.
