Parks in Hilton Head/Bluffton area

Nature and Wildlife are a part of the beautiful climate when you come to the Hilton Head area! Here are few parks that you can enjoy a wonderful stroll, bring your dogs to, plenty of activities and have a nice family picnic as well!

1.Sergeant Jasper Park

1458 Red Dam Road

Hardeeville, SC 29927

Hours: 8:00 am- 6:00 pm

This park is located off Exit 8 on your way to Hilton Head! At this park you can enjoy biking, walking trails, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and birdwatching. There is also a disc golf course as well.


2. Jarvis Creek Park

 50 Jarvis Creek Road

Hilton Head, SC 29928                                                                                                                            Hours: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm

This park is located off 278 and is on Hilton Head. You can enjoy a variety of activities including a  nice walk around the lagoon as well as a playground for the kids! This is a great park for dogs!


3. Oscar Frazier Park

77 Shults Road

Bluffton, SC 29910

Hours: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

This park is located in downtown Bluffton, SC.  At this park, this is where recreation leagues play baseball games. There are also tennis courts and soccer field as well. There is a community center that can be rented out for events. The brand new dog park is a feature at this park and a huge playground for the kids to enjoy!


4. Shelter Cove Community Park

39 Shelter Cove Lane

Hilton Head, SC

Hours: Dawn to Dusk

Located in Shelter Cove Towne Centre, this park offers a playground and a nice picnic area for gatherings! You will also experience amazing sunsets and the view of the water is beautiful!


5. Chaplin Community Park

11 Castnet Drive

Hilton Head, SC 29928

Hours: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm

This park is located off 278 between Burkes Beach Road and Singleton Beach Road. There is a beach access path before the entrance of the park and an ample amount of parking! This park is great to bring the dogs to and for soccer games as well! You can enjoy a nice picnic as well. There are also tennis courts and basketball courts.
